International Airstream Rally

Today I had the pleasure of being one of the judges for the International Airstream Rally photo contest. Congratulations to all of the winners, and great job to everyone who entered the contest. The "Best In Show" winner took home a very cool Airstream trophy. It was an honor to work with fellow judges Eric Tadsen and Skot Weidemann, both longtime Madison photographers whose work I admire. There were 500 entries in 8 categories, and it was a tough job narrowing them down and picking out the winners.

Peri is 2!

This was my third photo session with Peri -- I first did a session with her back when she turned one, and then did a session with her and her brother last summer. Now she is 2, and it's so fun to see how she's grown and changed. The lilacs were blooming and it was a beautiful day. She really started having fun when she put on her orange dress!

Baby Photography: Madison, WI

I'm introducing some new products this year including this 9-square art collection. It's perfect for baby sessions and highlighting close ups of baby "parts" (faces, fingers, toes...). This one will be delivered tomorrow, so I wanted to get a quick picture of it before it's gone. It looks lovely in my office -- I should really order a sample!



This is one of those things I wish I had of my boys. My 4 year old actually just said this is his favorite picture (and I have pictures everywhere!).

Party of Seven (+1 Grandma)

I had the great opportunity to do a family session with the M. family. The kids were absolutely delightful to work with and all get along so well.

So how do you get a picture of 5 kids? Not without some sweat. I am grateful that my clients embrace my natural style and are open to my ideas. I love the energy in this image!


Here is a sweet picture of Sam with his Grandma Lydia. Lydia is a very special person to my family as she has been both of my boys' pre-school teacher. You can just see her caring, gentle nature in this image.
